What a lovely time with these dear lovely ladies!! It was so fun doing a portrait session again; especially for friends that I know very well and don’t have to be at all ‘professional’ with.
Jana is a natural in front of the camera and oh so fun/weird/random/and beautiful! 
I’ll start off with a personal favorite of her…

Rida- wow, but I’m gonna miss having her to help me with sessions once she goes back to Thailand! I loved working with her again, and I always had full confidence she’d capture what I wanted and more! Thanks for all the good times, woman!
Photographers usually prefer to be behind the camera, but Rida did great in front of it too!

I can give these people nothing but mega props for being such good sports during their engagment session! You might be thinking, “Why do you say that? The lighting is gorgeous, it looks like it was nice and warm…” Well, yes, the lighting was gorgeous- so much so that I was sure heaven had come down to kiss the earth. But it was a VERY hot and sticky evening, and the bugs feasted on us, despite the loads of bug spray we applied. I couldn’t have ask for a more cooperative couple to put up with all that tho, and we had good times at one of my favorite locations- I love the wild, country look- and so did Kathryn.

Mark & Jody- engaged!
They were fun and relaxed and just great in front of the camera! Mark and Jody’s engagement session was great fun, and quite refreshing for me- I love how a good session can be totally invigorating! And add that to the warm, glowy light of a summer evening- there’s not much that makes me happier! And to top all those good things (I know, so many blessings!), my dear friend Rida, who is home from Thailand right now, helped me with this session- good times we had!

A beautiful summer day, a fun and relaxed couple, and many shwoony moments- yep, it was a good day!
We started this special day with a session of the gorgeous bride. I decided I really like starting the day like this!
Kris- a dear friend of mine, a photographer herself (makes my job easier!), and the easy laugh and beautiful, relaxed look- fun!
…and then the Man showed up and the good times continued!
